NGO & Charity Partners

Pure is committed to being a responsible and contributing corporate citizen. We aim to improve the well-being of those in the communities we live in and inspire them to lead healthier, happier lives.

We hope to offer our assistance in practical and meaningful ways. Listed below are causes and organizations we are proud to support and partner with.

Children's Cancer Foundation - Every year about 160 children in HK along are diagnosed with cancer, with devastating effects on the victims and their families. For over 23 years, CCF has been committed to improve the quality of life for young cancer patients and their families in caring for their physical, psychological and social wellbeing. They also assist all major public hospitals in Hong Kong to upgrade equipment and services in paediatric oncology.

We hope to contribute to their work and share Pure's healthy lifestyle with them. Initiatives include yoga and fitness classes for the children and their parents, volunteering to offer help when needed as well as charity classes from time to time.

Hands On Hong Kong - HandsOn Hong Kong (HOHK)’s mission is to mobilize and empower our community to meet pressing social needs in Hong Kong through volunteer services. They offer volunteers the flexibility to commit to just one volunteer activity at a time, and access to a wide range of volunteer opportunities serving a variety of local causes. Volunteers simply register and sign up on line for the activities they wish to take part in.

Their programs support under-served local causes and benefit a wide range of disadvantaged groups including children, elderly people and people with disabilities. Their programs cover activities including the provision of after-school tutoring to ethnic minority students; helping improve the living conditions of the elderly and people with disabilities; caring for abandoned animals, as well as assisting in the redistribution of edible surplus foods. HOHK have around 80 activities a month serving the local community.

We also support various fundraising events and awareness campaigns, such as 'Pink Revolution' and 'Stride for a Cure'.

SHARING IS CARING!

Sometimes our help come in different ways. We may donate used equipment or excess goods to various institutions or share our facilities. We may also host some events that can contribute towards healthier and happier lives in our community.

Starting in November 2012, we are delighted to continue our support to Island School's Health Week.
Every November we host a group of 40 students for a week of activities at Pure Fitness Lee Theater Plaza.
This week-long event addresses the importance of regular physical activity for their overall health leading to a more positive and balanced lifestyle choice.
The students may also use this event to raise money for a charity of their choice teaching them about helping those less fortunate and promoting a sense of community.
A win-win for all! We look forward to hosting them again this year.

Testimonial from the organizer:
“Dear Pure Team –
I just wanted to say thank you for giving Island School such a wonderful opportunity this week to experience a top quality fitness facility and to be taught by consummate professionals in the personal training and group fitness departments. The students have had a fantastic, fun and engaging week and understand the importance of maintaining an active life style throughout their lives.
